Barrington Inn

This was our first time at The Barrington. What a spectacular place! Kristina (who just might be the nicest person ever) greeted us promptly upon our arrival and gave us a simple rundown on the surrounding area, places to see, spots to eat at, etc. She was always available for any questions and she makes the most perfect bacon. Every single day the breakfast was divine and a welcome start to another gorgeous day. Highly recommend. The view from the shared deck is stunning!

I visited Block Island for my friends wedding. He had Recommended the Barrington as a delightful place to stay and I’ll say that from sending in the initial reservation request to staying at the actual property and up until the day I left, I had nothing but a wonderful experience. Kristina was my main point of contact and she was LOVELY!!!! So accommodating and quick to help you with whatever needs or questions you may have. The actual property is very lovely. I’m sure all the rooms are wonderful however I can only speak on behalf of room 3 since that’s the room I stayed in. It’s on the second level of the property and has a back door for full deck access. Waking up in the morning and walking out to the deck, taking in the fresh air and enjoying the lovely view of the land and the shore line in the distance was blissful. HIGHLY Recommend this place and will most certainly be going back the next time I visit block island. Thank you Kristina for making the stay so enjoyable!

My boyfriend and I stayed here and absolutely loved it! Kristina and her team were very nice and accommodating!! We stayed in room 5 which had a beautiful view from the shared back deck and had comfortable couches and blankets for at night. Although we were suppose to put in a breakfast order the night before (we forgot most nights since we were here for a friends wedding and had lots of events going on) Kristina still reached out every morning just to make sure we didn't need anything. We visit Block Island often and plan to stay here again! Thank you Kristina and everyone who made our stay amazing!!

My fiancé and I stayed at the Barrington Inn for three nights, and it was nothing short of amazing! Kristina and her team made us feel so welcomed and truly cared for from the moment we arrived. The decks at the inn offer the most beautiful views of the island, and the location made it easy to explore everything we wanted. Each day, we were treated to a complimentary breakfast, charcuterie spread, and even a bottle of wine, such a thoughtful touch! Housekeeping kept the inn clean and replenished bathroom items daily. This inn was absolutely amazing. The owner is the most accommodating and sweetest! Fresh breakfast delivered every morning with multiple menu options to choose from. Coffee available downstairs. Clean rooms, great location, beautiful deck, amazing service and great views! I even left an item behind and they went out of their way to send it to me. Would absolutely recommend the Barrington inn for a stay with friends or a couples getaway!

Our first trip to our favorite Inn on Block Island in two years & we found Barrington Inn beautifully renovated with impeccable hospitality by new owners, Kristina & Stuart. Included with our accommodations at their INN, were a delicious breakfast homemade by Kristina & delivered to our room in the morning or outside on the deck - and wine with an artisanal quality snack before dinner was left in our room. Both were a delightful treat & also a perfect way to start our day or tide us over after beach & biking while getting ready for dinner. Our room was sparkling clean, comfortable & tastefully designed with a gorgeous view from the back door deck. A much appreciated bonus was the self serve coffee available in their dining room for early risers. Kristina & Stuart truly are thoughtful, caring hosts. They even provide thick towels, umbrellas & beach chairs for the beach! The Inn also has a large front porch with comfortable seating & complimentary water that we very much enjoyed while taking a break in the shade after a long bike ride. Our quiet relaxing stay at Barrington was one of our top 3 highlights in 2021 & we very much look forward to visiting again in 2022! What a fantastic experience! The Barrington Inn is just a short walk to dining, shopping, and the beach. The room was quaint and impeccably kept. Kristina and Stu were incredibly accommodating and eager to address our every need. The staff was as courteous and friendly as can be. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

This year we decided to stay on Block Island in New Harbor. Staying at The Barrington Inn was a wonderful experience and the location is walking distance to Crescent Town Beach and restaurants. Our 3 day visit was magical ,relaxing, and fun! We were in room 4, a private deck overlooking New Harbor and the Great Salt Pond. Early morning sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. Room side breakfast is delivered to you at your designated time on your deck. Kristina and Stu are the inn keepers and owners they were accommodating, pleasant and made you feel so special. Our room was beautifully decorated in calming colors. A small refrigerator and every night a new bottle of wine(guest choice)with and light snacks, water refreshed every day. We will our return for 2025!
